Report: Egypt's Military Council vexed by Islamists' election lead

Egyptian sources said Saturday that Cairo's ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces was "vexed and concerned" by the apparent victory of the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafi al-Nour parties in the first round of elections for the Egyptian Parliament.

No official results have been published, but polls suggest the Muslim Brotherhood has garnered nearly 60% of the votes. (Roee Nahmias)
