Egypt: Making efforts to reach lull between Israel, Palestinians
Egyptian Ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Yasser Uthman said that efforts are being made in diplomatic channels to bring to a lull between the Palestinians and Israel, folloing the recent escalation in the Gaza Strip.
Fatah senior official Saeb Erekat condemned Israel attacking the Strip, and accused it of trying to harm inner-Palestinian reconciliation efforts. (Elior Levy)
