German minister to receive European unity prize
The committee for a German prize honoring individuals who contribute to European unity says its 2012 award will go to Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble.
The Charlemagne Prize said Saturday that Schaeuble has contributed steadily to stabilizing the euro currency union and, through that, to overall European unity. (AP)
