IDF Police investigates death of Palestinian protester
The Military Police is looking into the death of Mustafa Tamimi, a Palestinian protestor who was seriously hurt after being hit by a gas grenade during Friday's weekly protest in the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh, and died of his wounds Saturday at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva.
Eye witnesses said Tamimi, a Nabi Saleh resident in his 30s, was hit in the eye by a gas grenade at close range. The demonstrators also claimed that four other people were lightly hurt in clashes with the IDF. (Yoav Zitun)
