Saudi-Australian citizens convicted for aiding Hamas

The Petah Tikva District Court accepted a plea bargain convicting Iyad Abu Argha of aiding and abetting Hamas. A Saudi resident holding both Jordanian and Australian citizenships, Abu Argha allowed his foreign passport to be used for the collection of intelligence in Israel.
The defense and State Prosecutor's Office agreed on a 30-month prison sentence. (Naama Cohen-Friedman)
