France 'regrets' death of Palestinian protester in Nabi Saleh

France "regretted" the death of a Palestinian demonstrator killed Friday in the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh from a tear gas canister, and called "for restraint", French Deputy Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Romain Nadal said Monday.
"France deeply regrets the death of a Palestinian demonstrator from the village of Nabi Saleh and recalls its commitment to the universal right to peaceful protest," said Nadal. (AFP)
