Samaria Regional Council head Gershon Mesika expressed his regret over the attack of a senior military official by right-wing activists.
He accused the defense minister of being responsible for the Monday night riots. "Ehud Barak acted like a pyromaniac and set the ground on fire intentionally by trying to destroy homes in Ramat Gilad despite the advanced talks to solve the issue." (Yair Altman)
