Burqa residents pelt stones at police investigating mosque arson

Police officers who arrived at the West Bank village of Burqa to investigate the latest mosque torching were met with resistance from residents, some of whom pelted them with stones. The cops were forced to leave the area.

Earlier, it was reported that a mosque was set ablaze in the village. Carpets and furniture in the building were damaged. (Yair Altman)
