Iranian MP: New nuke facility to be completed in 3 years

Iran has begun working on a new civilian nuclear plant in the city of Shahreza, in the Isfahan district, Iranian Parliament member Avaz Heydarpour told reporters.

The Islamic Republic's government has began purchasing land for the construction of the facility, the MP said, noting that it is expected to be completed within three years. The new plant would join the nuclear research center in Tehran and the nuclear power plant in Bushehr. (Dudi Cohen)
