Hamas: We refuse to abandon possibility of military resistance
Hamas spokesman Salah Bardawil denied Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's announcement on Saturday that Fatah and Hamas had agreed that future Palestinian resistance to Israel will utilize popular and peaceful means, rather than military moves.
Instead Bardawil insisted that "Hamas refuses to abandon the possibility of military resistance" adding that the issue was not discussed during recent meetings between Fatah and Hamas officials. (Elior Levy)
