Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent a letter to the Czech Republic's ambassador to Israel, offering his condolences for the death of former Czech president Vaclav Havel.
"On behalf of the government and the people of Israel, I would like to offer our condolences to the Havel family and the Czech people. Havel was a courageous voice against totalitarianism and an inspiration to freedom fighters worldwide," Netanyahu wrote. (Attila Somfalvi)
