Salah Hamouri pledges to start new struggle

Salah Hamouri who was convicted for plotting to assassinate Rabbi Ovadia Yosef said upon his release, "I promise that my release will be the start of a collective struggle for our joint goal of liberating the Palestinian people and the return of all refugees."
A welcoming ceremony for Hamouri in east Jerusalem was attended by 300 of his relatives and friends. The convicted terrorist was freed Sunday after seven years in prison. (AFP)
