Barak: IDF will continue offering opportunities for women

Addressing the issue of the exclusion of women from the public sphere, Defense Minister Ehud Barak told an Independence Party meeting "I can assure you that the security establishment and the IDF will move forward with the process of keeping all opportunities open for women."
As for the extreme-Right's violence in the West Bank, Barak said "these riots are very harmful to Israel and the rule of law." (Attila Somfalvi)
