Syrian opposition: Deal with Arab League manipulation

The Syrian Natinal Council, which represents the majority of the opposition to President Bashar Assad, said the deal between Damascus and the Arab League regarding the entrance of foreign observers into Syria was a manipulative maneuver aimed preventing the UN Security Council from intervening.
"I have no intention of implementing any initiative," Council head Burhan Ghalioun said in Tunis. (AFP)
