Report: PA postpones forming of gov't over Quartet deadline

A senior Hamas figure told the London-based Al-Hayat newpaper that Fatah has requested to postpone the forming of a Palestinian government until after January 26 when Palestinian and Israeli representatives are meant to meet with the Quartet.
The Quartet has given the sides a January 26 deadline for submitting their proposals on borders and security which will provide the basis for renewed talks. (Elior Levy)
