Britain's Cameron visits troops in Afghanistan

British Prime Minister David Cameron is holding talks with troops in southern Afghanistan amid discussions over how international forces plan to meet their 2014 deadline to withdraw from combat. Cameron was making a previously unannounced visit to to greet some of Britain's 9,500 troops.
The prime minister has already confirmed 500 troops will leave in 2012, but has not set out how many will exit in 2013, ahead of a formal end to the international mission by the end of 2014. (AP)
