Indonesia finds 50 bodies after ship sinking

None

Rescuers have found more than 50 bodies in waters off Indonesia, days after a ship packed with asylum seekers sank in stormy weather. More than 150 others are missing and feared dead.

The heavily overloaded vessel - with about 250 men, women and children fleeing economic and political hardship in Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Pakistan - was carrying twice its capacity when it was slammed by a towering wave. (AP)
