Iran launches Spanish-language international news channel

Iran has launched a new international news channel in Spanish, which will also broadcast entertainment shows and documentaries, the network's management said.
According to a statement posted on its website, HispanTV is meant to "reach millions of people in Latin America, the United States and Europe." The channel is funded by the Iranian government and is broadcast from Tehran. (AFP)
