UN: Israel awaiting security arrangements ahead of withdrawal from Ghajar

UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Robert Watkins said that Israel has decided to hand over the northern part of the village of Ghajar back to Lebanon. According to Watkins, the Jewish state is waiting for the security arrangements necessary to complete the transferal.
The state made the decision to withdraw from the area a year ago, but it put the move on hold early in 2011. (Ynet)
