Barak blasts Foreign Ministry for chiding EU nations

Defense Minister Ehud Barak blasted a Foreign Ministry statement that deemed the UN Security Council's European nations "irrelevant" due to their condemnation of Israeli settlement construction.

Barak said in an interview with Kol Israel Radio that no good could come of "unnecessarily escalating the tension" with Germany, France and the UK. (Ynet)
