Iran Navy to hold drill east of Strait of Hormuz

Iranian Navy Commander Habibollah Sayyari said that the Islamic Republic's maritime forces are set to hold a 10-day drill starting on Saturday.

Sayyari told reporters that the exercise is to take place east of the Strait of Hormuz and strech to the Gulf of Aden. An Iranian MP warned recently that the army is set to practice closing the strategically significant waterway. (Dudi Cohen)
