Umm al-Fahm man arrested for kidnapping Petah Tikva teen

A 24-year-old Umm al-Fahm resident was arrested on suspicion of kidnapping a 19-year-old Petah Tikva resident. The captor allegedly entered the captive's car while the latter was at a gas station in Rosh Ha'ayin and forced him to drive to Tel Aviv.

The hostage managed to call the police when the suspect allowed him to use a gas station bathroom near Herzliya. The perpetrator, who is known to the police, is to be brought before the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court for the extension of his remand. (Raanan Ben-Zur)
