Abbas orders establishment of central election committee

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has issued an order to establish a central election committee – one measure that was agreed upon in a meeting between Palestinian factions in Cairo.

Senior Hamas official Ismail Radwan said that Hamas will join the PLO as soon as the mutually-accepted changes are implemented. (Elior Levy)
