UN chief: Syria violence unacceptable

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed concern over the escalation of violence in Syria and called on President Bashar Assad to fully adopt the Arab League's conditions.
Ban's spokesman Martin Nesirky said, "Today's explosions in Damascus, which resulted in more deaths and injuries, underscore his growing concerns. He emphasizes that all violence is unacceptable and must stop immediately." (AFP)
