Turkish official: NATO radar to be installed next week

A senior Turkish official confirmed that a NATO missile detection radar is to be installed in a NATO base in the city of Malatya next week, the Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported. The official said that the radar system is defensive and is not directed at any particular state. (Ynet)
