Egypt's Salafi party says it will honor Israel peace treaty
Egypt's Salafi party Al-Nour said it will honor the peace treaty with Israel, but has plans to amend its "exploitative clauses."
The party, which came in second in Egypt's second round of parliamentary elections, stressed it was opposed to restoring relations with Israel. In an official statement, the party said that while the treaty was signed by a dictatorship, it does not think lightly of violating an international agreement. (Roi Kais)
