Illegal alien indicted for raping sleeping beachgoer

The Southern District Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment with the Beersheba District Court against Mohammad Tarodi, a 23-year-old illegal alien from Hebron, for attacking a woman while she slept on an Ashkelon beach.

Tarodi is charged with rape, indecent assault and illegal presence in Israel. Last week, the prosecution pressed charges against two other illegal aliens who accompanied the alleged rapist during the incident, and did nothing to stop it. (Ilana Curiel)
