Pope calls for resumption of peace talks
Pope Benedict XVI called for the resumption of peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians in a special Christmas message.
The Pope also asked for solidarity between countries in the Horn of Africa and the cessation of violence in Syria. He expressed hope that the Arab Spring will work for general welfare. (AFP)
