Richard Clayderman returning to Israel

Following success of previous performances in Holy Land, French pianist to arrive for three concerts in March

French pianist Richard Clayderman will return to Israel for three concerts in March following the great success of his performances in the Holy Land four years ago and in the 1980s.

He will be accompanied by musicians from the Raanana Symphonette Orchestra.

Clayderman gained international success in the late 1970s and 1980s thanks to his recording of "Ballade pour Adeline", which sold 22 million copies in 38 countries. Since then he has sold more than 85 million albums and won more than 450 gold and platinum albums.

In Israel, Clayderman will play his most popular works, including the 12-minute "Titanic Symphony" and music from famous films like "West Side Story", "Schindler's List" and "Harry Potter", as well as his famous romantic repertoire ("Ballade pour Adeline," "Love Story" and "Don't Cry for Me Argentina").

The concerts will take place at the Jerusalem Theater on March 1, the Gesher Theater on March 2, and the Haifa Auditorium on March 3.
