Balad MK accused of meeting Mashaal in Syria
The Northern District Prosecution filed an indictment with the Nazareth District Court against Member of Knesset Said Naffaa (Balad), accusing him of contacting a foreign agent and illegally entering an enemy state.
According to the indictment bill, Naffaa traveled to Syria in 2007 against the instructions of the Interior Minsitry, where he met with Hamas Politburo Chief Khaled Mashaal and his deputy. (Ahiya Raved)
