High Court rejects petition to freeze all Israeli mining in West Bank

Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch and justices Miriam Naor and Esther Hayut have rejected a petition aiming to stop Israeli companies from mining in the West Bank. The petition was filed by the Yesh Din organization.

The judges claimed that the group has asked the court to intervene in an agreement formed between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, which the High Court of Justice cannot do. (Aviad Glickman)
