Syrian TV: Arab League monitors arrive in Homs

Arab League monitors have arrived in the Syrian protest hotbed city of Homs and are meeting the governor, Syria's Dunia television channel said.

The monitors are on a mission to assess whether Syria has halted a crackdown on a nine-month uprising against President Bashar al-Assad. At least 34 people were killed in Homs on Monday. (Reuters)
