Report: 1 in 3 Israeli kids poor

A report submitted by the National Council for the Child to President Shimon Peres indicates that one out of every three Israeli children is poor.

The report claims there is an increase in the number of children who fall victim to physical and sexual abuse, but the number of youths who have committed acts of violence has dropped. (Omri Efraim)
