PA condemns decision to build 130 housing units in Gilo
Nabil Abu Rudeina, spokesman of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, condemned Israel's decision to build 130 housing units in the neighborhood of Gilo, which is regarded by the international community as a settlement.
Abu Rudeina stated that "the Quartet must accept responsibility for the fast pace construction in the settlements, given the fact that they are neither legal nor legitimate." He added that peace talks between the Palestinians and Israel will not be renewed before the construction in the settlements is halted. (Elior Levy)
