Chief military rabbi: IDF won't become Beit Shemesh
Chief Military Rabbi Brigadier-General Rafi Peretz sent a memorandum to IDF officers concerning women's exclusion, denouncing such incidents as "immoral acts, which contradict the IDF's ethics and the spirit of Judaism.
"I'm working to ensure that radical, wrong notions, such as those which inspired the events in Beit Shemesh, will not permeate the military," he wrote. (Kobi Nahshoni)
