US: We'll work to convince Congress to OK more funds to PA
State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland addressed Congress's decision to hand over $40 million out of $187 million to the Palestinian Authority adding that the US administration will try to convince Congress to transfer more funds to the PA after the holidays.
Aid funds to the PA were halted earlier this month following the PA's statehood bid at the Security Council. (AFP)
