Peres: Iranian nuclear program an international issue

President Shimon Peres told the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper that Israel should not be the one to hold Iran accountable for its nuclear program.

"It is an important international issue and I believe the leaders who said they will not allow Iran to reach that stage," he said in a possible reference to US President Barack Obama. (Roi Kais)
