Military rabbis: Commander's order comes before Halacha
Dozens of military rabbis have gathered in Tel Aviv for an emergency meeting following recent exclusion of women incidents in the IDF. Military Chief Rabbi Rafi Peretz is attending the conference as well.
Talking to Ynet, one of the attending rabbis said that "the army's orders come first, and in cases of a dilemma or difference between the Halacha and a commander's order, we explain to the soldiers that the order comes first." (Yoav Zitun)
