Banks supervisor demands inquiry into exposure to elements aiding Iran
Supervisor of Banks David Zaken has issued a final memorandum forcing banks and credit card companies to submit by the end of March the findings of an inquiry into their exposure to international elements aiding Iran's nuclear program.
The order comes six months after a draft memo on the matter published by the Bank of Israel together with the Treasury and Israel Securities Authority. (Elitspan Rosenberg)
