British Ambassador: Settlement construction overshadows negotiations

Britain's ambassador in Israel, Mathew Gould has said that his country was happy over the planned talks with the Palestinians in Jordan.

But, said the ambassador, correspondingly another tender for settlement construction was announced a few hours ago. This overshadows the talks. It is disappointing and doesn't help anybody who believed that the talks would change the direction of the current situation. (Attila Somfalvi)
