Chief IDF rabbi recommends to dismiss IAF rabbi over resignation

Chief Military Rabbi Brigadier-General Rafi Peretz has recommended to dismiss IAF Rabbi Moshe Raved for resigning from his post as the head of an IDF program that recruits haredim.

Raved quit from the project in protest against new IDF policies, which he claimed were anti-haredi. The IDF announced earlier this week that it would not excuse religious soldiers from official events that feature female soldiers singing. (Kobi Nahshoni)
