The drill peaked at a simulation of fires in Palestine Square, one of the Strip's main squares.
Commander of the Gaza Fire Department Brigadier-General Yusuf Zahar said the location was chosen so that as many Gazans as possible could take part in it, and become more informed.
The drill reportedly garnered the public's interest and has been hailed a success.
