IAF Rabbi Moshe Raved has sent a letter to top IDF officials in which he apologizes for criticizing changes that are to be made to the haredi recruitment program that he headed. Raved said that he is sticking with his decision to resign from the program, but has asked the army to allow him to complete his term as an IAF rabbi at the end of the year, as originally intended.
Chief Military Rabbi Brigadier-General Rafi Peretz recommended the IDF on Wednesday to dismiss Raved over his resignation. (Yoav Zitun and Kobi Nahshoni)
