MK Cabel forms new faction ahead of Histadrut elections

MK Eitan Cabel (Labor) has formed a new faction, "Social Home," which allows him to contend for the Histadrut chairmanship against the incumbent head of the trade union, Ofer Eini. The elections are expected to take place in May.

Kabel announced his candidacy two weeks ago, despite the fact that Labor Chairwoman Shelly Yachimovich announced her support for Eini. (Attila Somfalvi)
