IDF chief, finance minister squabble during gov't meeting

An argument developed between Finance Minister Yuval Steinitz and IDF Chief of Staff Benny Gantz when the latter interrupted the former's presentation on a series of proposed lateral budget cuts and dismissing his statements as "nonsense."

In response, Steinitz chided Gantz for speaking out of turn. "You are a uniform-wearing officer and therefore should not speak in this manner," the finance minister said. "You must speak when you have the right to speak." (Attila Somfalvi and Yoav Zitun)
