Inquiry finds MK Elkin leaked info to right-wing activists

An investigation into the right-wing activists who are charged with collecting intelligence about IDF activity in the West Bank found that MK Zeev Elkin was one of the sources who leaked information to the defendants. According to the findings, Elkin informed one of the settlers that the security forces do not intend to raze the Ramat Gilad outpost on the night of December 12.

MK Elkin claimed he only attempted to prevent a clash: "There was a rumor that caused much agitation. After I realized that it wasn't true, I told the residents that the agreement wasn't broken." He denied revealing any operational details. (Yair Altman and Moran Azulay)
