Suspected illegal Ramat Gan bank had turnover of NIS 1Bln
Police have arrested 16 people over suspicions that for years they had operated an underground illegal bank with a turnover of NIS 1 billion ($260, million) near the Ramat Gan Diamond district.
They are suspected of operating an unreported bank, giving loans and currency conversion. On Monday they will be brought before the Rishon L'Zion Magistrate's Court for their remand hearing. (Eli Senyor)
