Livni: Landver's comment on Ethiopians condescending
In response to Minister Sofa Landver's comment that Ethiopian Israelis should 'say thank you for what they got," Opposition leader Tzipi Livni said, "Enough with this government's condescending statements."
"All Israeli citizens, regardless of their ethnicity, color or gender have the right to live in dignity and receive equal rights – not as a favor from the state but as a right. The cabinet ministers are acting as though they need to be reminded of this," she added. (Moran Azulay)
