Gilad Shalit meets French ambassador in Tel Aviv
Formerly captive soldier Gilad Shalit and his father Noam met with French Ambassador Christophe Bigot in Tel Aviv on Wednesday. The two delivered a letter addressed to French President Nicolas Sarkozy in which Shalit thanked Sarkozy for his "inexhaustible efforts" to bring about his release.
"Gilad has touched us all with his personal story," Bigot said after the meeting. (Boaz Fyler)
