Shalit to Sarkozy: I felt proud being called 'France's son'
Former captive soldier Gilad Shalit said in a letter to French President Nicolas Sarkozy that he felt grateful and proud when he learned from his parents that Sarkozy had referred to him as "the son of France."
Earlier on Wednesday Shalit handed the letter to French Ambassador Christophe Bigot to be delivered to Sarkozy. (Ynet)
